Happy Manic Monday? 😅 May is BPD awareness month, so to end the month bringing some awareness, but bet your butt I’ll bring awareness year round. I talk about it more than I use to. But I still mask it a lot for how much I deal with it every single day. Because I’m still afraid of the stigma and judgment. But it’s who I am. And what I constantly work on in therapy. I’m not trying to change who I am as a whole, but I am trying to change and stop the bad behaviors. I thought about taking all my KT tape off of my shoulders and wrists before I did this. But. Honestly. Why not bring more visibility to invisible illnesses like mine? This is reality for me when my body decides to have a flare up. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Postural Othrostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, along with an albphabet of other chronic conditions that you can’t see. But those two effect my body the most. And we are still trying to figure out some other medical issues I have going on. So, what you see from the outside might seem like a “healthy” person most of the time.
